# API reference

> Three server-to-server routes. @concatflow/node wraps them; any language can call them.

```text Base URL theme={"system"}
https://app.concatflow.com
```

```bash Node.js theme={"system"}
npm install @concatflow/node
```

The Concatflow API has predictable, resource-oriented URLs under `/api/v1/`. It accepts JSON request bodies, returns JSON, and uses standard HTTP status codes and bearer authentication.

It does three things, all for your **per-user door**:

| Resource | Route | Does |
| - | - | - |
| Sessions | [`POST /api/v1/embed/sessions`](https://docs.concatflow.com/api-reference/create-a-session) | Open a session for one logged-in customer |
| Conversations | [`GET /api/v1/assistants/{id}/conversations`](https://docs.concatflow.com/api-reference/get-a-conversation) | Read a customer's conversation |
| Conversations | [`DELETE /api/v1/assistants/{id}/conversations`](https://docs.concatflow.com/api-reference/erase-a-conversation) | Erase a customer's conversation |

The public door needs no API: the site token in your page is enough. See [Quickstart](https://docs.concatflow.com/quickstart.md).

## Client library

[`@concatflow/node`](https://docs.concatflow.com/reference/node/client) is the official library, for Node 18 and later. On any other stack, call the routes directly: the examples on each route page are in cURL, Python, JavaScript, Go, Ruby and PHP.
